Çağrı Erdem is an artist and researcher working with biosignal-driven interactive systems for computational music. He has a diverse background as a performer and composer in jazz, rock, and experimental electronic music, and is the co-founder of A.I.D, an Istanbul-based non-profit organisation dedicated to experimental arts. His research focuses on the physiological processes in cunjunction with the exerted effort in musical performance, and emphasises a phenomenological approach through participatory and situated design of digital music instruments for augmented embodied performance. Çağrı keeps building wearable instruments, teaching guitar and ensemble classes to children, orginising events, and performing in various solo and collaborative projects around Turkey and Europe.
